How do I get my PostHog API key?
Log into your PostHog account and navigate to Project Settings. In the API keys section, you'll find your project API key which you can copy and paste into the CodeWords integration configuration.
Can I track events from CodeWords workflows?
Yes, you can send custom events to PostHog from any CodeWords workflow. Specify the event name, properties, and user identification to track actions and behaviors occurring across your integrated applications.
What types of analytics data can I retrieve?
You can query event counts, user properties, funnel data, retention metrics, and feature flag states. The integration supports most PostHog API endpoints for retrieving analytics insights and user information.
Can I manage feature flags through this integration?
Yes, you can create, update, enable, and disable feature flags programmatically through CodeWords workflows. This enables automated feature rollouts based on conditions or schedules you define.
How does user identification work?
You can identify users by sending their unique ID along with optional properties to PostHog. This associates events with specific users and updates their profile information for accurate segmentation and analysis.
