Click the Connect button on this page and authenticate with your Bitbucket account using OAuth. CodeWords will request permissions to access your repositories, pull requests, and commit data. Once authorized, you can immediately start building automation workflows using Bitbucket triggers and actions.
Can I automate pull request notifications across multiple repositories?
Yes, you can set up workflows that monitor all repositories in your workspace or select specific ones. Create filters based on repository names, branch patterns, or team assignments to ensure notifications reach the right people. This works across unlimited repositories within your Bitbucket workspace.
What Bitbucket events can trigger CodeWords automations?
CodeWords can respond to new commits, pull request creation or updates, branch creation or deletion, merge events, and pipeline status changes. You can also trigger workflows based on specific commit message patterns, reviewer actions, or changes to particular files or directories within your repositories.
Is it possible to automatically create branches based on external triggers?
Absolutely. You can create workflows that automatically generate new branches when issues are created in Jira, tasks are assigned in project management tools, or based on scheduled events. CodeWords will create branches with your specified naming convention and base them on the appropriate parent branch.
How secure is the Bitbucket integration?
CodeWords uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication and only requests the minimum required permissions for your workflows. All data transmission is encrypted, and we never store your source code. You can revoke access at any time through your Bitbucket account settings, and we comply with industry security standards.
