# CodeWords

> Describe the workflow, don't build it.

CodeWords is how people who are not developers automate real work: describe the outcome you want, and it runs on its own. CodeWords turns a description into a live workflow, for anyone with a job they repeat every week.

CodeWords is made by Agemo AI. The product is live at https://www.codewords.ai and the app at https://codewords.agemo.ai.

Full detail (case studies, comparisons, industries, pricing): https://www.codewords.ai/llms-full.txt

## Positioning

- The category is workflow automation, with no modifier. The modifier sits on the verb: described, not built.
- Workflow is the category word and belongs in hero copy.
- Agent is demoted. It is not the category and not the hero word; it is retained only in search-facing copy.
- The flowchart is the thing CodeWords replaces. Not canvas, not graph.
- The buyer is a situation, not a job title: someone who can describe a recurring job precisely and judge its output, and will not maintain a flowchart or a repo to have it.
- Cody is the named builder inside CodeWords.
- WhatsApp is one of many integrations CodeWords workflows can connect to.

## What makes CodeWords different

- **It runs without you.** The workflows you build keep working after you close the tab. They run on a schedule, respond to triggers, or work continuously.
- **Describe it, don't build it.** Tell Cody what you need the way you would explain it to a colleague. Cody writes the logic, connects the tools, and deploys it.
- **Change it the same way.** Describe the change you want and Cody updates it. No flowchart to maintain, no developer ticket.
- **Connects to the tools you already use.** 3,000+ integrations, including Gmail, Notion, Slack, HubSpot, Google Sheets, Airtable, Shopify, and WhatsApp. App count is a specification, not a reason to choose CodeWords; Zapier has more.
- **Built for people who aren't developers.** You keep full code ownership if you want it, and you never need to open it.

## Build journey

1. Describe the job.
2. Cody builds and connects the automation.
3. Review what Cody built.
4. Deploy it.
5. Run it on a schedule, trigger, or request.
6. Change it by describing the change.

## Cody

Cody builds and runs your automations. You describe a job the way you would explain it to a colleague, and Cody works out the logic, connects the required tools, handles the edge cases, and keeps it running. Cody moves between chat, plan, build, and debug modes on its own, and remembers context across conversations.

More on how Cody works: https://docs.codewords.ai/automations/how-cody-works.md

## What people build

- Lead capture, qualification, and routing into a CRM
- Customer support and FAQ handling across email, chat, and WhatsApp
- Research and enrichment that gathers, summarizes, and files what it finds
- Scheduled reports and digests pulled from several tools at once
- Document collection, verification, and approval flows
- Booking, scheduling, and reminder flows
- Order, delivery, and payment follow-ups
- Internal alerts triggered by activity in other tools

Ready-made starting points: https://www.codewords.ai/templates
By industry: https://www.codewords.ai/whatsapp

## Who it's for

- Anyone with a recurring job that has a named input, a destination, an output someone depends on, and a reason to still exist in 90 days
- People who can describe that job precisely and judge its output, but will not maintain a flowchart or a repo to have it
- Operator and agency motions are routes in, not the category

## Who it's not for

- Teams who want a flowchart they control node by node. CodeWords builds through conversation instead.
- Engineering teams who want to write and self-host the runtime themselves.
- Anyone who needs costs fixed to the cent in advance. CodeWords bills in credits, and credit use varies with how complex a job is and how often it runs. Seat-priced tools are more predictable on that one measure.
- Work where every run has to follow an identical, fixed set of steps. Handling variation is the point here; a rigid step-by-step tool fits better when preventing variation is the goal.

## Customers

- **Jumia** (e-commerce, 5,000+ people, Lagos): Faiz Jafar runs the JForce field-agent operation on CodeWords. A daily deal automation posts the best offers into JForce WhatsApp groups every morning on its own, alongside seller support working in English and Swahili and a training flow for new recruits. n8n, Make, and Google Apps Script were retired. "I tried n8n, I tried Make, and they all wanted me to go deeper and deeper, generating APIs and building workflows." — Faiz Jafar, Sales Network Expansion, AI Projects, Jumia. Full story: https://www.codewords.ai/customers/jumia

What individual builders say:

- "I built in CodeWords in 25 minutes what originally took a day in n8n." — Ben, finance manager
- "Success metric: full migration from n8n to CodeWords." — Amelia, co-founder and CEO, ivee
- "We want CodeWords as our main platform for automations." — Ilia, head of AI, PIABO
- "It's sooo much easier than n8n. It's for people who don't have time to fiddle around." — Abby, operations manager
- "The most straightforward workflow builder compared to alternatives." — Mauro, CTO, GeoGen.io and CloudBlast.io

## Alternatives and comparisons

**Claude Code, including Routines.** The closest thing on the map: it describes and executes too, inside a repository. It is the better choice for developers who live in one. CodeWords is for the same mechanism without the repo.

**ChatGPT and Claude chat.** Both understand the job and can act on it once, and Claude can now build CodeWords workflows directly, so they work well together. The difference is what is left afterwards: a connected workflow you can change and audit, rather than an answer or a single action. For one-off tasks they are the better choice.

**Zapier, Make, and n8n.** Mature platforms with large connector libraries, and n8n can be self-hosted. All three will now build a workflow from a prompt. The difference is what happens next: they hand you the flowchart, and maintaining it is your job. On CodeWords you describe the fix and approve it. For node-level control, self-hosting, or rigid two-step syncs, they are the better choice.

**Building it yourself.** Everything CodeWords builds is real code you own, running in a managed sandbox. You are trading setup, hosting, and maintenance work for speed.

## WhatsApp

WhatsApp is one of the channels a CodeWords automation can work in, and the clearest example of something that runs without you. Every plan includes WhatsApp access; paid plans raise the usage limits.

- Use your own number, through the supported personal-device route. No Meta Business API application, no verification wait.
- It answers the questions you already answer, on the number your customers already message.
- It can work inside group chats, not only one-to-one conversations. Group automation runs today through the personal-device route; the dedicated shared group bot is paused during migration.
- Inbound-first sending: paced sends, daily caps, and opt-outs honored.
- Multilingual conversations, handled without manual translation.
- Structured outcomes flow back into your tools, and conversations can be handed to a human with full context.

Limits by plan: Free 5 DMs/day, 1 group; Pro 20 DMs/day, 5 groups; Business 50 DMs/day, 10 groups.

- Business: $100/month with 200 monthly credits.
- Custom: inbound enquiries only.

Custom is inbound-only. How credits work: https://docs.codewords.ai/pricing.md

## Security

- SOC 2 readiness, with formal SOC 2 certification in progress with independent auditors
- Data encrypted at rest and in transit, hosted on AWS
- Connected credentials are held in encrypted, provider-managed systems; OAuth tokens for providers such as Google and Slack are handled through certified partners
- Each run executes in an isolated, sandboxed environment that is destroyed after completion
- Secrets are injected at runtime and are not written to logs

## Claim boundaries

- Examples are labelled Build now, Custom build, or Concept.
- Unverified booking and inventory experiences capture a request for later human confirmation.
- WhatsApp outbound is limited to transactional and consented lifecycle communication with caps and opt-out.
- Handoff means verified contact instructions, an owner notification with summary, or a tested operator-queue transfer.
- Jumia: the full approved website case study may be used.
- Connected credentials may persist in encrypted, provider-managed systems where required.
- Testimonials are text-only; no star or aggregate-rating structured data is emitted.
- Stronger setup-time and reliability claims require capability-specific evidence.

## Focused LinkedIn capability

The LinkedIn page describes post, profile, DM, comment, lead, connection-request, carousel, and profile-optimization starting points. Availability and connected actions must be verified for each experience. Sending and publishing require the current verified route, account-owner approval, and configured rate limits. Cold blasts, Sales Navigator scraping, buying engagement, bulk email or phone scraping, engagement pods, and LinkedIn ads are not supported positioning.

# CodeWords

CodeWords is how people who are not developers automate real work: describe the outcome you want, and it runs on its own. Cody builds it, connects your tools, shows you what it built, and deploys it after review. When the job changes, describe the change and Cody updates it.

CodeWords is made by Agemo AI Ltd. The product is live at https://www.codewords.ai and the app at https://codewords.agemo.ai.

## What CodeWords does

CodeWords turns a plain-language description into a connected, deployed workflow. These workflows can research, monitor, report, qualify leads, support customers, onboard people, and coordinate operations across 3,000+ integrations. They can run on a schedule, respond to a supported trigger, or run from a request. Cody manages the build and deployment so users do not configure the underlying logic by hand.

### How CodeWords builds a workflow

1. Describe the job the way you would brief a colleague.
2. Cody builds it, connects its tools, and shows you what it built.
3. Review it, then deploy it.
4. Run it from its configured schedule, trigger, or request.
5. When the job changes, describe the change and Cody updates it.

### WhatsApp as one integration

WhatsApp is one of the tools CodeWords connects to, not the category and not the lead. Use the verified connection route for each experience; do not assume every personal-number, group, or business-number setup works the same way.

Examples are labelled **Build now**, **Custom build**, or **Concept**. Unless a connected build has been individually verified, booking and inventory examples capture requests for later human confirmation. WhatsApp outbound is limited to transactional and consented lifecycle messages with configured caps and opt-out.

## Pricing

- Free: $0/month.
- Pro: $39/month with 60 monthly credits.
- Business: $100/month with 200 monthly credits.

# About CodeWords

CodeWords makes building a working AI agent as easy as describing it. Cody connects the tools, deploys the agent, and keeps it running — without requiring a dedicated developer for every job.

We started from a simple observation: the hardest part of deploying AI is not the model. It is everything around it — setup, integrations, debugging, deployment, and maintenance. CodeWords lets people handle those steps through the same conversation that starts the build.

CodeWords is built by Agemo AI Ltd in London. Backers include Visionaries, firstminute capital, Sequel, and Illusian, alongside operators from Miro, ElevenLabs, Personio, Zalando, Supercell, HubSpot, and others.

# Build LinkedIn automation

You've heard of AI automation. Now you can build your own for LinkedIn.

CodeWords makes building LinkedIn automation as easy as describing it. Connected actions remain subject to the availability label and verified route for that experience.

This page is https://www.codewords.ai/linkedin. It is not linked from the main menu. LinkedIn is a capability of the same product, not a separate one.

## LinkedIn starting points

1. LinkedIn post generator and connected scheduler.
2. Public-profile enrichment from authorised URLs.
3. LinkedIn inbox and DM assistance.
4. Relevant comment drafting and approved posting.
5. Public-profile lead research and list output.
6. Personalised connection-request assistance.
7. Carousel copy generator.
8. Profile optimizer.

After review, a supported build can remain deployed and run from its configured schedule, trigger, or request.

## How this differs from Claude Code

Claude Code is strong for hands-on software work in a coding session. CodeWords focuses on the resulting connected automation: after review, a supported build can remain deployed and run from its configured schedule, trigger, or request.

## What is not supported

These are not supported:

- LinkedIn Sales Navigator scrapers (gated, no public API)
- Buying LinkedIn followers or likes (against LinkedIn rules)
- Bulk LinkedIn email scrapers (against LinkedIn rules)
- LinkedIn phone number scrapers (not in the API)
- Engagement pods / pod clones
- LinkedIn ad creation or ad targeting

Connection requests, DMs, and auto-commenting are concepts until their connected route is verified. Any eventual send requires account-owner approval, configured rate limits, and an authorised audience.

## How LinkedIn automation gets built

1. Describe the automation in chat, or pick a suggestion.
2. Cody builds the supported starting point and shows what requires connection, approval, or custom work.
3. After review, deploy the verified build from its configured schedule, trigger, or request. Change it later by describing the change.
